The FlexMulti 629 instrument supports 2 or 4 ARINC 629 databus plus ARINC 429, ARINC 717, MIL-STD-1553, serial ASYNC RS-422 / 485, HDLC / SDLC and more with precise timing and easy programming. The unique design allows to connect to a computer using either Ethernet, USB 3, PCI Express, PXI Express or Thunderbolt 3. Supports for embedded code programming allowing the device to operate as a standalone or remote device. The FlexMulti 629 can be used on a desktop or rack-mounted.

FLIGHTWORTHY UNIT

A special part number of the FlexMulti 629 is also available for inflight tests. The box has been tested by a third party organization to meet with a dozen of relevant criteria and requirements regarding EMI, vibrations, climate condition and more. The unit is currently used by a major aircraft manufacturer to monitor data during test flights.


The unit has not been controlled by the FAA.

ARINC 629 BUS ANALYZER BUNDLE

MAX Technologies offers a bundle of hardware and software intended for airlines and the MRO industry working on the Boeing 777 and Boeing 777X. The bundle is composed of the FlexMulti 629 with two (2) ARINC 629 buses and USB interface, two (2) MAX-AC-40102-B cables with Cinch connectors at both ends to easily connect the FlexMulti 629 to the ARINC buses and one license for the MAXIM Datac Edition Graphic User Interface for Windows along with the Boeing 777 ICD.

MAX629 BUS CONNECT

ARINC 629 signals require the use of Current Mode Couplers (CMCs). The MAX629 Bus Connect replaces the need for CMCs and create a CMC-free lab bench. The MAX629 Bus Connect is a 1U 19-inch rack mount panel emulating one (1) bus with six (6) couplers. Multiple boxes can be daisy chained if more than six couplers are required. The MAX629 Bus Connect simplifies the ARINC 629 connectivity on lab benches and draws costs down. More information online.
