The MAXDIO Connect panel is a 19 inch rack mount or table top device capable of delivering Push-Pull outputs controlled by Open-Gnd Discrete or TTL Discrete.

This is an easy and convient box to use when discrete conditioning is needed.

How does it works? Use a MAX Technologies Discrete I/O instrument to control the Discrete output. Use the MAXDIO Connect to convert TTL or Open-Gnd signals to Push-Pull discrete with custom output level.

Application Example

When needing to drive many high-power discrete lines, it is often more cost-efficient and footprint-efficient to use high-density PCIe or PXIe cards with low-power discrete capabilities and externalize signal conditioning outside from the PC. This is exactly what the MAXDIO Connect allows users to do.

The diagram below shows how a user can feed up to 48 discrete lines, with up to 36V @ 200mA per line, to a UUT using a MAXDIO Connect. The MAXDIO Connect pairs perfectly with the IPM-DIO-48 module which offers 48 Discrete I/Os.
